Ryan, I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure YF was talking about the difficulties Al had for YP. I think YF meant that it would be bad if Al had more difficulties with this album than what he already had. Nowhere in his post did he single out Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B artists. Calling someone racist is a little extreme, espeically if they didn't say anything even remotely racist.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Frankly, ever since we've had confirmation that Al was doing a Chamillionaire parody, people have been saying things like this. Rap artists or R&B artists are no more likely to turn Al down than any artist in any other genre. Stop being so racist.

Because someone thinks that Al might have had difficulties, that person is now being tagged as racist?
WTF????

Upon hearing Ne-Yo's name he was saying "Uh oh, I hope he didn't have any problem."Kevbo1987 @ Aug 22 2006, 09:13 PM wrote: Ryan, I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure YF was talking about the difficulties Al had for YP. It really doesn't matter. I'm sure he didn't mean it like I'm reading it, but that's just been a kvetch of mine that I had to let out somewhere.

Woah woah woah there, I wasn't even thinking about race. Yeah, that didn't even come to mind that it could come off like that (I actually never even heard of Ne-YO.) I was talking about all the recent problems Al has been having with legality and rights, the whole Pitiful thing - the stuff that was in the posts above me. Sheesh, let out your rage elsewhere.

I'm sorry. I don't mean to incriminate you.

It's true, I have been a bit touchy lately, but that doesn't excuse me. I was in the wrong.spacedingo @ Aug 22 2006, 09:49 PM wrote: Ryan's been on the warpath lately...don't mind him![]()
