Interesting find, OE. Too bad that uninformed soul did not know that Al has done more movies than UHF. Ah, well. At least they knew the answer to the question about that line.

Oh, I think we can let the non-rabid-fans off from the responsibility of knowing about all of Al's bit parts in other movies. It's OUR job to keep track of those.
I just think it's cool that they remembered the "steenkin' badgers" line.

Well, I didn't say I was upset that they didn't know he'd been in other movies, but, yeah, I can let it slide. I am happy they knew that Al had parodied that line in UHF.

There's a column from USA Today asking who we think is the greatest American band of all time.
Whitney is taking suggestions. If you make a good argument, she just might post your response. Scroll down to get her email address.

Ill have to say that the person that typed that response may be saying that its the only movie Al did. He's been in plenty of others sure, but I think the point may have been its the only movie Al made himself. But it could be ignorance as well.

I want to make a point for Al, but it says band. Too bad, we could have gotten Al onto there with our virtual muscle.

Wow, 3 posts in a row... I was reading on the Throwing Toasters site about the B.O.R.E.D. Tour and they linked to an article about it:

Weird Al Yankovic (who is believed to still be alive physically, if not professionally).

I guess having an album debut at #17 and winning a Grammy isn't good enough for that writer.

Sadly, it's not good enough for any writer, for any artist.
If you don't debut in the top ten, or you do and quickly fall off. it's a disappointment. That's show biz for you....
(Still doesn't mean the guy's not a poopyhead, of course)
