Anth, I'm not saying you screwed us out of a challenge, and I'm not saying the MCs cheated, but I just want to know why even though 4 signed in, three were only allowed to play.
This isn't going to be all stars where I'm still furious at Jeremy for screwing my tribe out of a challenge

How would we have cheated? We did everything by the book. There is absolutely no way we could have cheated.
If you had a problem with what Anth said, you could have corrected him, and then there was no problem.
Did you not get all your puzzle pieces? That's the only way I think there's a way we had an unfair advantage.
If you didnt get all your pieces, and Anth can verify, then I would vote we nullify this challenge and wait for a rematch.

OK, where the crap did I say you cheated? I just specifically said you didn't cheat.
What the hell? I can't voice a complaint. Whatever.

I wish I read this thread. I could have had more pre-nap time.

You can voice a complaint. Just sounded like you were implying that you felt screwed out of a challenge, or that we cheated.
It's just like saying "No offense, but you should wear pants" doesn't automatically make it less offensive.

Because I had no idea how long it would take the teams to assemble the puzzle and wanted to be on the safe side. But I'm not sure how the scheduling determined this challenge--both tribes had three people putting together the puzzle and one whose job was to simply post it.

Do you mean from your tribe or the MCs? Elvis wasn't here at the start of the challenge, so again, to be safe I didn't want to require him to be the Video Aficionado just in case he wouldn't be online on time. I know having you double up wasn't the ideal solution, but that ultimately shouldn't have made any difference in the end result.
I want to be sure that all players feel that the game is being run fairly but the scheduling is always going to be difficult to manage, and that'll be even more evident when the challenges become individual. I want to make sure we have at least the minimum number we need to run the challenge, and in tonight's case we had to make a small switch in order to do so. Perhaps I should've forced the Minor Celebrities to have one of the puzzle assemblers double up as well just to be sure everything was
totally balanced, even though I didn't/don't think that would play any part in deciding the winner.
The Doctor wrote:I thought the challenge called for 5 people.
Right but only four were required live.

The puzzle pieces were sent out in three batches, with one player from each tribe receiving an identical batch at the same time--you should be able to tell via the PM who from the opposing tribe received the same set.
If you have any concerns or suggestions on how to deal with situations like this in the future, let me know. I truly did not intend to give the Minor Celebrities an advantage or the Jungle Cruise Guides a disadvantage and I apologize if anyone feels that that happened tonight.

OK then
The "Pick a number" angle tells me this all isn't gonna matter soon anyway

Pretty much what I was thinking. Either a merge or a tribe re-allocation.
Probably tribe re-allocation.
highest number posted first gets to be new tribe picker-person?
Am I spoiling all the surprise, Anth?
