I'm not sure when Dave is starting up Alprentice 2, but as long as you can wrap it up before he starts, you can start this one up.

Well, he doesn't know for sure when Alprentice 2 is starting either, so don't contact him. Just start your game and when he announces a start date for Alprentice 2 make sure you can wrap it up before then.
