I'm not gonna lie, I'm actually pretty disappointed with the unheard parodies (CIA, TMZ, Tattoo)...at least from what I heard anyway. I'm really looking forward to If That Isn't Love, it sounds likes it'll keep building up into something really good. I can't really judge everything from a 30 second clip, but overall, I'm kinda disappointed.

But here's a good way to see if your disappointment is justified. Check out the 30 second clips of some of your favorite songs in Al's catalog. Are any of those 30 second clips a good representation of how great those songs are? Probably not. A song needs to be heard in whole to really make a good judgement. That's why I don't really have any opinion on what I heard. Every one of those sound like they have a great deal of potential.

No, no. I realize that I can't make a full judgement of these songs. Scrap my comments on the parodies, I'm sure the full song will be much different than the 30 second clip.

-Goes back to listen to clips again-

Like I said, If That Isn't Love is the one I'm looking forward to the most, but I'm not sure about SFTCTM...but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Which now that i think about it was kinda dumb cuz i just basically told everyone who looks at his site that it was on there lol. I would have told Bermuda but he has not accepted my friend request yet(even though i requested at least a week ago and all the other guys accepted a day or 2 later but o well) and i did not want to go onto each of the band guys pages to write it. I figure once is enough
Yes, I emailed Bermuda last night.
He didn't seem worried about it.

I think the news about his second Lady Gaga parody (most of the sites reference it as "Polka Face" or a "Pokerface Parody"), my prediction is Al is asking her to parody her Pokerface VIDEO to make a Polka Face video. As he DID state all of the new songs would have videos.

That would make a lot of sense, since he could potentially reuse some elements of Perform This Way (background dancers, costumes maybe, make up artist). This would be really amazing if he actually is doing a live action video for "Polka Face". But I doubt this is the case considering he is now touring. It seems doubtful that he'd have time to pull it together. Of course, there's nothing saying he has to do the video now. It could be for later in the summer.

It would be incredible if Al finally decided to do a live action video for a polka, parodying each original video. I hope it happens, but I remain skeptical.

You know, he sorta did that with UHF why can't he do it again, now that he's much more successful than he was in the 80s.

I remain skeptical at well, but I justify myself by imagining Al thinking this:
"Hmmm....Alot of my fans have already heard half the album...maybe I should throw something special in this time...somthing I haven't yet done. A polka video!"

It would be a very expensive video to produce because you would need to build sets that would only be seen on screen for ten or fifteen seconds. Not sure if the label would bite, especially if you assume Al paid the animators a modest amount for each of the other videos.
