Something else entirely.
I'm also willing to bet Al will Tweet onstage. I'll be looking forward to it.

Perhaps that one big song Al did back in January? If he feels like it really warrants encore value, he could use it.

Al will definately tweet onstage. Although it could be before the show. I do think we are going to see alot of tweets on wednesday. As far as the encore, it probably wont be Albuquerque, but I dont see him going back to Yoda/TSB. If he does Ill be disappointed, I didnt stat to enjoy Yoda live until last tour because it always meant the end

Al's encore will be a performance of the entire Beatles discography sung backwards whilst sucking through a straw and pantsless. At the end of The Long and Winding Road, fireworks will shoot out of his butt and they will form the visage of Alfred E. Neuman in the sky.
Bermuda will behead a live sasquatch.
And that's just the first encore......

I got a suggestion to post a global announcement spoiler policy for the tour. Before I do so, I want to give people a chance to have their say. So, if anyone wants to weigh in and hasn't done so yet, please do. I know we're not going to please everyone, but at least if we come up with a posted spoiler policy, people will know what to expect.
Here's my thoughts on things.
I think it's more than fair to talk about the setlist, etc., without any kind of spoiler warnings, in concert topics if that concert is going on, or has happened already. Also, last tour, we had a topic just for the setlist. Obviously, that's fair game for setlist talk too. If you want to stay spoiler free, you should stay away from those topics.
If Al debuts a new song, it should get it's own topic in Music. It would be one thing if it was debuted at some private party or some small event where only a handful of people hear it, but we're talking it being performed in a public setting in front of a thousand people each night.
As a courtesy, you shouldn't post setlist spoilers, or new songs/lyrics, in this topic or any concert topics that haven't happened yet without spoiler tags. And if you're going to talk about new song(s) outside of those topics, or the new Music topic, then use a spoiler tag. I think we've shown we can do that well in the past.
Comments?

That sounds perfectly fine to me, as long as the new topic in Music isn't named after a new song's title. If it is, then the song's title will be spoiled to those who may not have wanted to know it.
So I suggest the topic be called "New Song(s) on the 2010 Tour."

The problem I have is that in our exuberance we might forget spoiler tags. And it is a Weird Al forum after all, so if the discussion spills over into other topics, I don't think people should be ragged on for stepping outside the spoiler zone.
Those of you who have been around for a while know that I am the Queen of the Anti-Spoiler. I have taken time off the forum before the last two albums just so I could be spoiler free, so I understand the sentiment. But my definition of spoiler has always been: if it's info released by Al or his representatives, it's not a spoiler. Remember the last album, the songlist was available on Amazon when the pre-orders were being taken. In my view, they weren't spoilers. That info came from the record company, and thus was officially "out there."
I do understand the frustration. When PH came out, I remember there were people who hadn't gotten the album yet and wanted us to wait to discuss it openly after the release date. Seriously.
If you are trying to be spoiler free, it's not going to be easy if you do any WAY surfing at all. Even if we decide to police it here, we can't control what is being posted out in the Weird Al universe. And with twitter, facebook, blogs, etc. etc. etc. if you want to be truly spoiler free, you're going to have to choose /to go offline, and hope that your local news doesn't pick up the latest parody news.

Yeah, I gotta abide by the "spoiler policy" established by Elvis there as well as the whole "if Al has released it or just performed it on tour by now, then it's NOT a spoiler" mantra...hell, I might just be avidly seeking someone's definition of "spoilers" of this tour here and maybe on YouTube...there's only one show on this tour that I could possibly attend (and it's a month and a half away, mind you) and whether I will actually be attending or not is still up in the air...so, I guess you could say I'd like to attend that show not exactly knowing what Al is going to play, but having a vague ball park figure of the set list or knowing every song that will be played wouldn't exactly lessen my genuine enjoyment or experience of said show either...and if a new song or parody is performed that hasn't been released yet, than maybe it deserves a topic in the spoiler forum...or just a mention in the "New Song(s) on the 2010" tour which could also go in the spoiler forum...that way, everybody is appeased...also (on a semi related note) in a recent radio podcast interview, Al mentioned he will be breaking out the MIDI accordion on this tour...this instrument can produce just about any sound you can put into it...this leads me to believe that he is indeed preforming some polka on this tour...and it is going to either be Polkas on 45/Hot Rocks (or some other 80s era polka) or possibly the new polka that is intended for Album 13 (if he did indeed record this in January or May of this year...maybe he is going to try to put in the pre recorded sounds of the other instruments in this MIDI accordion or have Ruben play them on his keyboard) or maybe he will preform EYKIW on this tour using the MIDI accordion...

I'm with Dave here. And Fred, there is nothing wrong with titling a thread after a new song.
