*BUMP*
I absolutely cannot WAIT for the SOL tour. I'm dragging along my non-fan friend, and I'm fairly convinced that it'll do her a loooot of good. >D Oh yes.
Plus? New concert photos = ♥.

That's cute, Steph!
Hmm, I do wonder though-- what all songs are we gonna have in the medley this time?

He'd have to make it very obvious that it was intentional. Of course we know Al doesn't lip sync (except for a few Dick Clark shows), but there are plenty of people out there who think he does.
Assuming it was a costumed song, would Al dress up like Milli or Vanilli? And who would dress up as the other one?

I thought about that. Yeah, that would be kind of hard. Unless they make the track really low-quality and crackly and have the sound of a tape running in the background, and Al would have to lip-sync horribly, but that might be too much just for one little medley bit. Some people who are old or informed enough would know that's what Milli Vanilli did, but yeah, not good to encourage those who thinks Al really lip suncs by doing it live. I didn't really think about a costume, maybe just the black shirt. He didn't dress up like Robert Palmer during ATS, or a Backstreet Boy for eBay, right? If he did it at all, a costume might not be necessary.

The cheapest i've gotten a ticked was about $15.00 and the most was i think $25.00. I dont remember how much the tickets were when i went to my first Al concert cuz i wasnt there when my parents bought them. But also all the concerts were at Kings Island(an ammusent park in cincinnati) and we had season passes so they were cheaper. I dont have a pass anymore and i think it cost a lot just to get in for one day and it will cost more for non season pass holders. So it will probably be a lot more this time.

Oh ya? Guess what? The OC Fair is something like $7.00 (fair admission price, concerts in the grandstand arena are FREE). I love living here.
Also, the private Mission Viejo Lake concert was free- unless you count your membership.

It's going to be a tough call for me. Paramount's Great America is now over $51 to get in, and as of last year, $10 just to park. And I was never able to get good seats there, either, even when I called just as soon as they went on sale. That makes for an expensive day.

Well, maybe Al will be booked into a different Bay Area venue this time around.

AND the Fox Theatre in Stockton, newly remodeled and renamed "The Bob Hope Theatre" has always been a good place to see Al. Maybe now that it's finished he'll be back. I don't remember the price, but I believe it was around $25 per ticket and all the seats were good.

Great America does make for an expensive day (although the Poodle Hat performance there was superb.) Probably my favorite Bay Area Al venue was the Palace of Fine Arts in S.F. where he did Alapalooza. What other Bay Area venues would be good for Al?
I wonder if Konocti counts as one of his Bay Area venues? If so, I hope he skips it this next tour. The wind, cold and curfew nearly made the last show there a disaster. He also fell off the stage with his accordion in 96. I think the spirits of Mt. Konocti are not Al fans.
