World of Weird Al Yankovic

True, but whatever you write about, it is always in great detail. Those are the reviews that I always enjoy when I, for some reason, can't make it to a show.

I've only been to one of his concerts, back in 2008, but I'll be attending his concert this sunday (which I don't see any threads for on the forum), so soon it'll be two.

Ah I remember my second concert. It was my first time meeting Al. Hope you have the same luck

Same here. Second time.

Third. It's a shared experience in some ways, no doubt.

Luckily I met Al at my first concert. Wasn't expecting it, or hoping for it. I'm not really even sure that I knew what I was doing, but my aunt and I were heading back to the car, when we saw a huge throng of people waiting outside the back of the building. I remember that we sang Happy Birthday to someone, but at the time, I didn't know who. Now, I realize that it was Bermuda. The rest of the band chatted with the few of us in the front, and me being the little kid, the throng let me up front. Then, Al came out to meet after awhile. They set up a table at the end of the sidewalk and Al signed. I couldn't believe how happy I was, and I've had that Saga Begins shirt in a sealed plastic bag since that day.

Funny....I met Al the first time at my second show, as well. It was in Syracuse in 1999, and capped an epicly horrible week. I was also lucky enough to get a photo, and it I am grinning like an idiot. I had him sign my cassette copy of In 3D. I also managed to get a hug because he knew the people I was standing next to, and assumed I was with them. I do not remember driving back to my friend's house.

It took me until my fifth concert to meet Al, but it was worth the wait.

I first met him after my second show. Though it took 13 years and 13 shows to finally get a picture with him!

The first time I met him after a show was my second one as well... but technically I met him for the first time after the UHF screening in Austin a couple years ago.
