This song helped to make my friend, Cameron, an Al fan.

It's seems that every other person that has some kind of discussion about Al, they have to bring up his parents. The only reason I can think of,is that it's the one negative thing that happened on his life that has been widely published. One can go on about racist rants, drug use, or weird affairs. Non of that exist, so they hound on the his parents death. One can tell it's still hurts him and they don't care.
Anyways, Foil is a great song. Heaps of fun and I do love a good conspiracy theory.

I don't think that's so common

Was pretty surprised when Shatner asked him about it in an interview a few years ago I think. The interview all of a sudden got so sad and even though he was just asking it seemed an odd thing to ask such a funny guy. He was probably just curious and knows him well enough to ask but it was surprising nonetheless.

Im positive Al knew it was going to be asked. Especially since it was the anniversary

Well that is an excellent point. He probably even asked him if it was cool ahead of time.

Also considering the show itself, and how it hits the "Raw Nerve," I think it was to be assumed going in that it would be asked.

They do pre interviews and say what can and can't be talked about. If Al said no to the question, I don't see Shatner going off script

When I first saw that interview I thought Shatner was kind of a jerk for asking it. Especially I didn't like how he was beating around a bush with some related story instead of asking straight ahead, because if that was a spontanious conversation that would be really irritating. But if it was prearranged, it's different
