I think Jeremy's referring to the fact that Al would've said something by now. Of course, the writers could've told him to keep his mouth shut, so we'll see.

I could've sworn I heard something about the Simpsons & Al on the radio today, but I didn't catch it. They'd had a trivia question about which Springfield the movie is premiering in. And I only truly perked up when I heard Al's name...

The state that the Simpsons live in is where the "Hollywood" premiere is going to be:

Vermont

*I heard it on my local news

Yeah I'm a little upset about Vermont, I wanted Illinois to win, because I can easily get there via Amtrak and it wouldn't be too hard to get in.

Did they officially decide that the Simpsons Springfield is Vermont? Or are they just doing the premiere there? It was always neat eliminating stated from the running.

I think that Springfield, Vermont is the Springfield that is most like the Springfield where The Simpsons live, not actually it. But I could be wrong.

Vermont won the premiere for its 'guy who looks like Homer chasing a giant doughnut down a hill' video. I think the Simpson's Springfield is more like Oregon. It's next to an ocean that the sun sets over. Matt Groening is from Oregon as well

The REAL Springfield is either Oregon or Illinois... time will tell.

i think they gonna show it on 21th July at Vermont...

by the way i think that Al could do a cameo...Matt & Co r working at the movie since 2003....but they added jokes everytime...even on may 2007...!! so there r some possibilities...but Al is in tour now... so i don't know...let's see....
