Update on Sand Al. You can see one of the animations popping out of the top of his head. I assume they're leaving a support in place so his nose doesn't fall off, but it gives a Highly Unfortunate Appearance. Pass the Kleenex!

Yep, he looks like he's leaking a bit from the nose!

There's also a light bulb that pops out of the brain periodically, and we saw steam coming out of his ears.

I might go on Friday... but I'm gonna be at the fair enough this year, so I might decide to not go and pay the parking fee and ticket another time just to see Al's Brain. Then again, it might be something to do that day. What time are people going? I like showing up a little later, like 3 or 4pm, after the heat and bigger crowds.

I'm not going by myself, I'll be in somebody's group. I'll be there Friday so I'll start talking with people then I guess. I'll join up with you Ale, might as well see it ASAP and if I go more than once, all the better.

I thought there was going to be a 'special' outing to this event or something? Is that not happening anymore?

Maybe after we've all gotten to AlFest and met each other we can arrange something huge for Sunday, but that certainly wouldn't be less special just because a few of us jumped the gun.
