Actually, they show videos on a daily basis. Maybe not as regularly as they used to, since ratings have consistently proven that they do better with other forms of programming, but they do still show videos.
I honestly haven't seen full videos on MTV at any point since about 1999. The closest thing now is on occaision, they will play maybe a minute or two clip from a video, interspliced with stupid comments from people on the street or what not. Even in 1999, The Saga Begins only ever played on MTV twice, and Pentiums played maybe 5 times total, so something tells me we aren't going to see the videos off the new album anywhere except maybe MTV 2 at 4am.

And it really doesn't matter anyway because MTV (Or VH1 or Fuse) are not the only outlets for videos anymore.

iTunes. If you have 2 bucks on hand (or credit card for that matter), you can buy a nice little video to watch OVER and OVER again.

I agree that seeing the video on MTV is probably a long shot. But I really think we could see it on VH1 (Do they show videos anymore?). They've been pretty kind to Al, so if they still show videos, it's pretty likely we'll see it on there. And as GrayJ said, I'm sure it will be all over the internet.

All of the channels show MVs from about 1-9am on VH1, 12-6am on Mtv 1 & 2, and the channels also show weekly MV countdowns.

Bermuda is looking in here..... looks like something is about to leak out on the web or be announced on The Mothership.
Nah, just seeing if anyone's getting close. Despite all the speculation and diligent detective work (some of it scarily good, some of it horribly misguided...) there are plenty of surprises on this album. You guys will love it!

Ha, like Bermuda would be the one to give us spoilers.

After the offical release, we should go back through the spoilers and compile two lists -- scarily good and horribly misguided. I have no doubt there is plenty of both.
