Help! Though this song is WAY easier for non-English fan to laugh at, since the song is overplayed worldwide and I needed to look in the dictionary only two or three times now

, there all still some references that I can't understand. Those are: Halo 2 and the Slurpee machine. Could you folks please explain those jokes for me? Thanks a bunch!
SEVA.

Slurpees are a sweet drink that we get in America. They're sort of like little crystals of ice floating in liquid, kind of hard to explain, so it has a very interesting texture. They're usually fruit flavored.
Halo 2 is a first person shooter video game for the Microsoft Xbox game console. It is the sequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, arguably the most popular video game of all time. It is set in very futuristic times and it pits the humans against the Covenant and Flood.

A note re: Slurpees You get them at convenience stores where the usual people who work there are "unskilled" labor.
It's kind of nuanced -- that may have come off more harsh than I meant it to.

This is funny stuff. Glad to see Al has still got his touch. Trust me, I'll be waitin' with cash in hand when this record hits the stores.

I was browsing around after finding out about this song and found this:
Hey, I just stumbled upon this article and I couldn't agree more with what you've said about "Weird" Al Yankovic, Mr. Wheeler. He is a complete hack, whose hey-day is long passed. He really needs to give up his little schtick and get a real job instead of pestering my clients. Perhaps you've read about his recent attempt at humor in the form of a parody of James Blunt's hit song, "You're Beautiful." Well, I couldn't have James' image tainted by this hasbeen so I approached him, after the "Weird ONe" approached James, and advised him that it would be in his best interest to disallow the parody. James agreed of course, but didn't want to look like a jerk, so he had me arrange for Atlantic Records itself to intervene and prevent the parody from happening. Now, we're getting a bunch of letters from enraged "fans" of "Weird" Al. (I didn't know he had fans, to be honest). LOL! They want us to allow the parody. If I could send them one message, it would be this:
It AIN'T gonna happen!
If I could give them two messages, then I'd tell 'em:
Get over it and get a life. LOL!
Thoughts and prayers,
Mary Gormley
The article in question is in the spoilers forum so I won't put a link, and besides, the author has no grasp of good satire, so there's no point adding fuel to the fire at the site. but that comment does ad another side to the story.

Wow, it's amazing that she's personally receiving letters already, considering her name wasn't even brought up until about 2PM yesterday and folks on here didn't start sending out letters until after that. It looks like all the fans took advantage of that scheduled wrinkle in the space time continuum to allow their supposed enraged letters to reach her just hours later.
And people have the nerve to call it "snail mail."

Mary Gormly: You are such an idiot.
"I hate Weird Al... so I'm gonna like, sign up on the forum and... and... make fun of him. Um... yeah."

How do we verify this is true and not someone just yanking our chains?
If it is true, that calls for Plan B - muahahaha
