Awesome! I was just thinking the other day that the next Simpsons CD is due out soon, and now knowing that it has "The Ballad of Homer And Marge" on gets me even more excited for it.

That's awesome! I wonder if it'll be an extended, full-length version, or just what was heard on the show. Do any of you Simpsons fans have an idea, based on prior releases?
Also, I really doubt Al will be in the movie. I'm pretty sure we'd have heard somethng about it if he were.

Well I assume the version that exists is already a complete version (Al said in Ask Al none of his stuff was cut), but the last release had an uncut version of a song that had a verse removed before animation, so it'll be interesting to see if they include the first version of the credits song (The one with the King of the Hill lyric)
As for the movie, it is possible. Al was a big hit with the writers and the staff (A commentary on the last DVD said he was one of the biggest "room" guests they ever had), but since the time he'd have to record something most likely coincided with touring and the SOL hype, he probably wouldn't be easy to get. It's still possible, but I doubt it.

Nah, the Simpsons writers would walk through fire to keep the plot safe. They invented loads of fake plot rumours so people wouldn't know. He could well be in it.
