Some rather anti-Al reporting there. It also reports that Lady Gaga was apparently initially "offended" by the song...

Re: Perform This Way
Don't worry about any anti-Al stuff. Some reporters just don't want to bother researching the story, and like I said, right now, Al attacking Lady Gaga is a better story than Lady Gaga stiffung Al. It's just how it works.
I'm surprised no one's tried to drum up a story that Al's making fun of the Bible or mocking the Japan situation with Alpocalypse yet

You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I have an example on this. On an all news station they ran a story on this, but it was after Gaga said yes. They were still acting as if Gaga said no even after it came out she said yes.the Dingo wrote:Some reporters just don't want to bother researching the story.

Re: Perform This Way
Al is "riding the coattails of a successful musician to turn a buck"? Yeah, for a charitable organization supported by both Al and said successful musician. . .but anyway.

Three decades now, not that many successful musicians can say they've lasted that long.

Yeah, I just realized the other day that Al is 51. He doesn't look a day over 40.

Also, did those Huff guys seriously call Gaga harmless while calling The Don batsmurf insane? That Psychometer obviously isn't reliable.
How old was that last signature? I mean, really?

Re: Perform This Way
What you have to realize is, a music star of Lady Gaga's stature is CONSTANTLY being bombarded by business offers and proposals 24/7. Not all of them can actually reach Gaga's ears, and it's up to her manager to pick and choose which ones to take directly to her, and which ones to use his own best judgment on. It's like that with EVERY major artist, and her manager probably just didn't know what a "huge Weird Al fan" (as she claimed to be in TMZ) she is, so his instinct was probably "if unsure, just play it safe and say no."
