His character was married in the video though.
It's not real clear who the woman who got the surge protector as a gift was supposed to be. "Spend my nights with a roll of bubble wrap" certainly suggests a guy with no SO to my mind.

That's true, it seems like the assumption though. It has to be someone special to get a surge protector from a white and nerdy guy. ;) Okay, girlfriend. Meh. I didn't remember.

About the youtube:
Since it has been bought by Google :9~
I think that, because of the high standards and reliability and trustworthiness that Google has, I think Google will work out many deals to get almost anything you can think of posted on the YouTube/Google Video stuff.
That includes Al appearances and Al videos

There's a clip of Chamillionaire and Krayzie Bone performing 'Ridin'' on Jay Leno posted on YouTube, in case anyone's interested in comparing a performance of the original with Weird Al's performance. Am I allowed to post the link here?

Sounds like there was less use of canned tracks, but they had probably also had more experience performing it live.

Because this is so monumental I am sharing it with you: My husband thinks Al is a genius blessed with a boatload of talent - but is NOT a fan somehow...sigh.

Anyway, he not only stayed up way late to watch Al with me, but was disappointed that Al wasn't interviewed. Even *he* thought Al warranted an interview over John and Penelope - AND deserved it more careerwise...

I'll make him a fan somehow, someday.

Having seen what that looks like now, the camera angles weren't so bad. I can see a little more now that I've watched it a few times how the performance seems a little rushed and/or unrehearsed. However, not bad at all for the first live performance of any song by Al since 2004 sometime. Oh, and this is interesting...while downloading the video, I got this screen cap.

Aw, Jim took the easy way out (:P smart man)- instead of replying to each comment about the show (like he normally would), he posted a bulletin about it lol.

My mom hadn't seen the W&N video before the TS performance, so she got a kick out of the live long and prosper!
