"Reinforcing his longevity, he's, thus, now sent a new single into the top 40 in each of the last four decades, something that only two other acts have done: Michael Jackson and Madonna, both of whom, he's, of course, ribbed in his inimitable good-natured way."
Wow. Not very many artists with similar career lengths can say that they're as relevant still as Michael Jackson and Madonna, yet Weird Al has proved in a big way that he is.

I still can't get over this. I've been in an insanely good mood all day because of it. I'm so proud of Al and the guys right now.

My favorite thing about this, despite just being enormously happy, is that the last time a comedy album topped the chart, both my parents were toddlers.
So it's about smurfing time.

Globally on the Spotify Viral chart, Al's current rankings are as follows:
1. NOW That's What I Call Polka!
2. Word Crimes
3. Handy
4. Foil
6. Inactive
14. Tacky
18. Mission Statement
33. Sports Song
So this chart might give a good indication of which lyrics/songs connect best with the public. The public loves their Al polkas!
See, Al?! You gotta keep releasing polkas, the public demands it!

My Spotify shows me that Handy is his most listened to song of the week followed by Foil and Word Crimes.
Also, I feel like Al should digitally release a new polka at the very end of each year around New Years that includes that year's biggest hits. Also, bring back some themed/ artist polkas.

Yeah dude people LOVE mash-ups. If Al stops doing polkas then he is super missing out. ($$$$$$)

I think Al is always missing out as far as cashing in on polkas. People would have LOVED this polka if it had been one of the eight videos. I bet it would be charting.
It's not too late!
