I`ve never actually been to an Al show (Don`t shoot me!), mainly because I`ve only been a fan for about a year.

I`m not as rabid as you guys, so I`ll probably only attend the show in Ottawa (if there is one  ).

Al has said before that he enjoys Canada (they seem to have a little better sense of humor about things), so here's sending good thoughts you way for a Canadian leg of the tour!

Besides, once you go to a show, it is a life changing experience! Take it from someone like me who used to be normal....many, many years ago.

Squirrelygirl, let's get real, here--we were never completely normal.

Own your weirdness. Embrace it. :D

Looking forward to seeing you at a concert very soon!

Yeah SG, I do remember way back when when we were both newly Weirdified and our heads were spinning from the experiences 'what makes two working women, going about their daily lives, suddenly go...BOIIIIINGGGGG?????????'. :9~

It would be extrememly cool if Al did another Canadian leg this next tour. The Ottawa concert in 99 is still my all-time favorite Al memory. I'd definitely take some time off and tour-chase north of the border. I just love Canada and Canadians, and I get the impression Al and TBITB have a great time with Canadian audiences.

Cheers, Diva
itchin' to tour chase from Victoria to PEI

One word: "Al". (However, that one word encompasses a whole lot!)

Whoa, something just occurred to me... a few things actually -

1. A lot of comedy concerts involve seats at the front. I can't handle that - I'd kick everyone until the seats got put away (I can only stand at concerts. No exceptions)
2. Al will probably never tour here. He's not big enough here... (cries uncontrollably but still finishes her list)
3. I can never go to America cos I hate planes.
4. I'm a spolt brat (see no. 1)

sigh............

On topic though - I hope he does tour here for once in his miserable........ well not miserable............................. ah whatever.... my prediction will be wrong if he doesn't! And I'm the psychic!......... I mean the good prediction, not the bad one... I'll shut up now.

I'd better start saving some cash...I've got TWAS and SOL to buy, and I'd like to do some tour chasing if Al somes to Australia. If not, maybe I can get enough cash together to fly to the US to catch a show. I think you'd have to kill me, put me in a lead-lined coffin and dump me in the Atlantic to stop me from seeing at least one show of this tour.

Believe me, we don't want to stop you.

If you do come here, for heaven's sakes don't go to just one concert. Pick one of those parts of the country where Al does fairly closely-spaced concerts a day or two apart and do a little tour chasing.

California is NOT a good tour-chasing state. There's a lot of geography between venues (too much chasing, not enough tour!) and not so many public meet & greets because whenever possible Al books back to the Hollywood Hills, Suzanne & Nina instead. As is only right. :)

Lucky people.

You DO realise I'll just rant on this topic, right?
