Re: Yankochick Central
There's a fanart topic in the fan creativity section. Maybe we should try there?
This is KAOS! We do not polka here!

Re: Yankochick Central
Okay, I need to tell someone and I don't know where to say it.
I am LITERALLY freaking out and I scared my friend with my reaction (skype call).
I knew Germs was a pistachio of Nine Inch Nails with cues specifically from Closer.
And I'm listening to a playlist that has some Polka Medleys on them. I never really cared for them, but I appreciate them more now than I did as a kid. Especially since they were songs he wanted to parody but couldn't find the right words for. So in still an homage and means he liked the song.
Angry White Boy Polka was first. I had a fit because they were all hard rock songs I knew. I couldn't keep it in. AND THEN. AND THEN ALTERNATIVE POLKA CAME ON. WHICH HAS A SECTION OF CLOSER IN IT. AND I LOST MY ...POOP. I couldn't believe it. I still can't. Bleeping out the bad words doesn't even help the song with it's undertones, and the polka sound doesn't make it any scarier of a song. (Mind you, I still like the song!) Does he actually like the song, or did he add it in for the sound or what? It's not really... a 'nice' a song, really. It just seemed... so... out of place.
BUT
It also makes me sad listening to these older Polkas. Because the last two have been mostly pop, and these older ones were rock. And everyone knows rock > pop. Pop is more dancey, though. But the fact that all the 'popular' songs now are very similar and all pop songs makes me sad. That's just personal opinion.
Anyway.

Re: Yankochick Central
Marilyn Manson's Dope Show was in another one... (Gotta love me some MM!)
I guess I'm so used to hearing him be called "family/kid friendly" it just seems odd to me to hear these in the medley's.
It would be interesting to talk to him about these songs. I'll have to remember if I ever get a Czar pack in the future... The line "I wanna feel you from the inside" doesn't sound good no matter how you say it and I giggle everytime @_@
I personally haven't watched Breaking Bad yet! People tell me I should. Also Dr. Who and Supernatural. But those shows have so many episodes/seasons! Depression doesn't let me have the motivation to watch that much. (On the other hand, when my friend is depressed that' when she gets the motivation to watch shows with infinite seasons
)

Re: Yankochick Central
Wait'll you hear Polka Your Eyes Out!!
Also, I live in Breaking Bad, NM so I encourage everyone to watch my house show yes
Depression & watching shows varies for me. Sometimes it's WATCH ALL OF THE THINGS and then other times it's I CAN'T WATCH ANY OF THE THINGS
Polka Your Eyes Out, tho. Off the Deep End is the sexiest album and Polka Your Eyes Out is the sexiest polka.

Pistachios are delicious, that is all.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!
