Looking at the pictures of the book again, I realised that there was a page I didn't get a photo of X* It was the very last page, titled "Thanks Al" which had some quotes from the "Thankful For Weird Al" topic that's floating around here somewhere. I thought that would make a nice end to the book :)

That is a great ending to it. My aunt wanted to pass along my photo with Al to...Al, and maybe if she does, I can pass along a message too. I'll be sure to thank him again for allowing me to meet him and I will also mention that even though I couldn't be there to present the presents to him, I still hope he enjoys them all and knows that we care about him so much.

That's sweet that your aunt wants to pass along a copy of the picture of you and Al to him. Maybe it'll give her a chance to make sure the gifts got from the Greek back to his home. My biggest concern is during all the confusion backstage and Al's rush to get home that they may have been forgotten or worse someone else helped themselves to them. I know I'm probably just worrying over nothing and Al got the gifts home and has been enjoying them, maybe even wearing the t-shirt I got him while reading the birthday book and munching on Patti's peanut butter kiss while I type this.

Well, I'll try and get into contact with her soon, I don't want to push her or anything, but I want to just make sure. I'll call and see what the whole passing the picture thing was about and then I'll see if she can find out about the presents.

This is a fantastic idea! Its always great to organize something together and not just have every individual throw a card at Al, though I don't think we'd throw it anyway.

Well, everyone who was worried about whether or not Al received our gifts can now breathe a sigh of relief. I have just found out that he did get them, and to tell everyone thanks. My source also said "You should have seen Nina's face when she saw the chocolate kiss and sprinkles." Aww! So, thank you from Al and Suzanne.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
