I was just doing some obligatory surfing over at Amazon. (Still no pre-orders of a certain unnamed but soon to be released album) and found this.

I saw a copy of this book last weekend. Al's got one page toward the end. One of his best memories of Nick was his advice about how watermelon makes you feel better.

You know, I seem to recall hearing that before.

Remember during RWS when Al would wander into this whole recollection thing right before OMM? He'd start off on some story and Rueben would start playing more and more dramatically? I forget which show it was but at least once Al was talking about advice from his dad and starting going on about watermelons and how they were a happy fruit. I remembered it cause it seemed so bizarro.

How funny it seems that bit had a little truth behind it.

The morning show on WZPL, here in Inianapolis, is doing a Christmas in July show, and they were playing sound bites from celebrities, and they played Weird Al’s Christmas sound bite!

Weird Al has been ripped off already! I was listening to the Wgn news in Chicago and they said this is a song about cubicles, and the music to "your beatiful" started playing. I thought I was going to hear Al's song but then I heard another song about cubicles. I kind of doubt it originated independently from Al's parody.

I don't think it was a ripoff, I think that this station decided to do a parody of Your Beautiful too.
Then again I haven't heard it.
