I don't think that many people will see him for the 2nd leg. How far can he go in 2 months? Don't answer that.

I doubt he'll release in Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. I don't think the market is big enough yet, and at the moment, choosing one of those formats will isolate the people who have players for the other format (and those that don't have either).
Do HD-DVD's play on regular players? If so, that would be the way to go. Otherwise the only people that could play it would mostly be people who own PS3's (if Al went with Blu-Ray).
But then who knows? LG (I think) have made a multi-format player. It currently costs a few thousand dollars, but maybe by the time Al releases the next DVD, they'll be cheaper and more common.
Since when isn't Al allowed to release a DVD and a Hi-Def counterpart?

I don't follow directions very well.
In July and August 2007 Al and the band played 42 shows in 19 states (plus the District of Columbia and three Canadian provinces). They managed to perform from California to New Hampshire and lots of points in between. Getting those buses on the road is an expensive proposition. It only makes sense that Al would want to shoehorn in as many shows as human voices, human stamina and the vagaries of promoters will permit.

And considering they are only performing for two months, they might do a breakneck pace and do 7 shows a week and squeeze in 62 shows. I admit it's a stretch, but it could be done.

I don't think they should do that. At least 4 days a week. 4-6 days would be fine.

I don't think anyone's voice, not even Al's, could stand up to seven days a week for eight weeks. And it's not as though he could just send in an understudy, is it?

Well, he could, if he thinks the local police force is up to handling massive riots by a very angry crowd of Al fans.

Yikes! That would be bad! I would be in the frontline of that riot!
