see, but the answer to both questions would always be 'no' unless you were trying to appear to be something you are not. i don't consider listening to weird al to be a guilty pleasure, and thus i would not be embarrassed to be singing it (see this just sounds stupid), but it certainly isn't cool to be singing it unless you are just trying to be ironic or intentionally childish in some way.

not that i don't apprecaite dumb or stupid things. many of the things i like are stupid. but i like to know they are stupid. i think it gives it a greater appreciation value.

This is the same philosophy I used to create the "Ever Felt Really Cool" thread. I figured if we publicly acknowledged that the concept for these threads was incredibly dumb, it might reduce the overall feeling of dumbness in posting in them. It turned out I overestimated the rational ability of the WOWAY populous.

I don't think it matters if the thread is stupid. It doesn't matter to us :3

Yeah, twice actually. Once my Mom and I were in our car in a parking lot and we were singing Smells Like Nirvana very loudly. There was a lady in a car next to us staring at us and we didn't notice until we were about halfway through the song. The second time was when I was at the park sitting on a bench. I was bored, so I started to sing WBUL (i have no idea why I decided to sing THAT song). I got to the "And your nostils are so nice" part when I heard someone laughing. It turns out that there was someone I know standing behind me and listening to me sing. I was really embarrassed.
