I had a great time being in the audience after I had a chance to take a few breaths right before being ushered into the studio. We were cutting it so close, also arriving at around 2:30. I dropped off Jack and Tuck at the line and tried to find a parking space. After a few minutes I could see plainly that there was no parking nearby. All the while Tuck keeps calling to update me on how close they were to letting people inside. The sweat starts to bead up on my forehead...I was toying with the idea of parking in a 2 hour parking space I found and risking a big fat ticket or a tow. Then I quickly called a friend who lives a few blocks away and I was able to park in front of his place and then I jumped in his car and he dropped me off at the line. I made it with no more than 5 minutes to spare. Whew!
We all had a great time, and it was so nice to see Al and the band perform and I think this was a test for them to see if performing it in this manner will fly. I'm sure Al and maybe the band, too will be picking it apart way more than most of us. I have no doubt they'll get better and better at it after performing it on tour. Great job considering the difficulty.
The last thing Al did before leaving the stage (after doing the promos) was to turn to the audience (specifically to his fans, of course

If anyone wants a VHS tape or a dvd, I can do that. I have it taped on Cox digital, and can offload it at the high quality setting, so just let me know if you need it.
