No one took down the music videos that are ACTUALLY by Al on YouTube when the UVC came out so I'm guessing the answer is no.

I agree, most people don't get it if it's Al or not. My friend's send me music they down load, & I recived both Barney's on Fire & the Beer Song, both supossitly done by Al. But I change the headings to read NOT Weird Al on those songs. & yes, insulting their fave artists would just result in a huge online war. Just have everyone you meet put NOT Weird Al on their songs, then we can all be happy.

It's better if the actual artists who did those songs got the credit.
"Barney's on Fire" was done by a one-man band called None of the Above (it was actually a 15 year old kid named Tony Mason with a drum machine. He did a cover of Slime Creatures from Outer Space which was included on the Prostethic Lips tribute album.)

I looked through the Twinkie Cookbook at my local grocery store. Alas no recipe for Twinkie Weiner Sandwich.

Here's a reference from i-mockery, although it reminds me a bit more of Hardware Store than anything else.

Remember when I said I ordered a Spatula City t-shirt? Well, it came in the mail yesterday!
I wore it to Curves today, and the gal working there started cracking up! She's not really an Al fan, and I don't think she even knows about UHF, but she thought it was hysterical. She said, "That's so funny! Only you, Patti." I showed her my spatula earrings, and she started laughing again. I always think that my work is done if anything Al related that I wear or talk about makes at least one person laugh. Oh, I even told her about the billboard, and how they left it up for like a month after the movie came out. I told her how people were looking for this fictional place upon seeing that billboard. She thought that was funny, too.

Well,
I thought it was a nifty, blather-worthy moment.
*sigh* I miss Al.

I liked your blather moment, Patti.

Thank you, Terri! It just tickled me how she just cracked up the instant she saw my shirt!
