It sure was, somewhere between 45-50 if you count the backs of pages

I couldn't figure out how to enlarge the page; what did I say in that section? I think I've posted in that thread two or three times so I was just wondering which post was used.algonacchick @ Oct 21 2007, 01:39 PM wrote: Ambra, thanks for the compliment on my kiss. I'm impatiently waiting for pics and a report from Meli, but I completely understand why she hasn't posted yet. I enjoyed your contribution to the "What I Like Best About Al" page, btw. Very nicely put.
Ambra wrote: What I like about Al is that I will never have to worry about seeing tabloid stories about him driving drunk, giving a sloppy performance because he was too busy partying to rehearse, beating up photographers or fans, having wild parties with groupies, going in and out of rehab, using derogatory language in a fit of rage, or any of the other "scandals" that make headlines now. He's a kind, decent family man who treats everyone he meets with respect. It's too bad the press isn't more interested in people like him.
Thanks Pattialgonacchick @ Oct 22 2007, 12:21 AM wrote: Wow, Emily! Those pages look great! I had no idea how many there were. I love the last grouping, from various topics here. Fantastic! Can't wait to hear more about everyone's contributions.
ETA: I went back, and found I was able to enlarge the pages, so I could read most of them. Very nice! I was pleasantly surprised to see a quote from me in the "What I Like Best About Al" section. Thanks for including me, Emily!
That would be so awesome. I know it would mean an awful lot to me if it ends up meaning that much to him, and I'm sure it will mean just as much to everyone who contributed.kaztaylor @ Oct 22 2007, 01:55 PM wrote: I just love to imagine Al flipping through the book, showing Suzi how much his fans love him, feeling all loved and proud...
...and someday when he's 100, he'll be showing Nina and her kids the souvenirs of his wild career, and she'll look at this book and say, "Gee, Daddy, it seems like you were quite the heartbreaker in your day," and he'll smile and remember the Al-Gals of the WOWAY... biggrin.gif
It sure would. I still smile when I think of the 1000th show book, and how well it was kept secret, and how glad I was to be a part of it.KnottyEmily @ Oct 22 2007, 01:32 AM wrote: That would be so awesome.
