That is pretty crappy. But, I guess those that are that stupid to get an American Express card, deserve to have something to look forward to in life.

The tickets have been sold out for weeks and they couldn't be bothered to tell you when you first called?
At least I don't feel so bad about having to work through lunch today.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. When I called the first time and they started taking my credit card info, I asked if they had a different stash of tickets from the ones available on Ticketmaster and he told me, "Yes, exactly." I was really hoping I wouldn't hear from him at all about it. Well, better to hear a few minutes later than a few days later I guess. Anyone else down for staking out the place at 7:30?Orthography Enthusiast wrote:The tickets have been sold out for weeks and they couldn't be bothered to tell you when you first called?

The guy I got said they had exactly FIVE additional tickets left that day, and they were all swooped up fast.

I'm positive we were talking to the same guy, and he told me there were zero tickets given out today. Strange.

I feel bad for those of you who dont have an american express card as that meant there wasnt really a public sale. I have 1 for business since 1981 so i am 1 of the lucky ones who is going on monday. but they have had shows on sale over the yrs with say a citibank mc and i didnt have 1 of those so i missed out on some shows at times too. I always thought it wasnt fair when 1 group of people have an advantage over the others when it came to buying tickets to ANY SHOW. I got lucky this time but im not always so lucky.

Would you mind posting the stories/q&a's that Al provided from this show? Definitely would be appreciated, rangerbob.

Ok, so we know rangerbob is going to this but is anyone else attending, or is anyone else going to stand outside the venue pathetically in case they have any last second seating available?

I might come be pathetic with you. It's kind of far for me, though, and I'm pretty fried from Comic-Con, so I don't know yet.
It's pretty funny that the guy on the phone gave us each a slightly different story about the tickets. The bottom line was the same, and there wasn't really a need to provide any details, but I think it's amusing that he felt the need to change the details with each conversation. Maybe keeps his dull job interesting that way.
