World of Weird Al Yankovic

Whoa, a whole bunch of tour dates. When does he plan to release the album in midst of all this?

My best guess is mid July if he is doing it this year. Leaving for Australia in 2 weeks doesn't leave much time before that. He could write while he is there and record when he comes back and that could have it out by the time he hits the US leg, otherwise I see it after the first leg. But I think Al doesn't see any ideas any time soon and is looking at putting out an album after the tour ends, that's why he is doing the split tour, he wants to get some dates in, and he's planning a full tour next summer in support of the album. Of course we all (including him I'm sure) thought that it would be out already

I'm just hoping he comes within a 4 hour drive of my area, so me and billy can go see him. We had a fantastic time in Boca Raton and took a ton of pictures. a month later my awesome 14.1 megapixel $270 sony cybershot with panoramic photo capability got stolen, and along with it, both our memory cards and all 300 or so pics from the concert, and my video of Yoda. I miss my camera.

I like seeing tourdates. I wasn't expecting to see them this early. Now I'm just hoping for stuff in the midwest here.

More tour dates are always good.

The "NEW" icons that were next to the Pittsburgh, PA and Riverside, CA shows have been taken down from the Mothership touring page.

I *hope* that means there will be more new dates added very soon!

I hope he plays the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, WA again, that is my home town!!

Totally stoked for May, looking forward to it of course. Would be exciting to see them play mostly classics and stuff from previous tours before they start playing unreleased material and the other 6 songs for the next couple years. Generic Blues, Stuck In A Closet With Vanna White or Young, Dumb & Ugly would be a nice surprise! Anything original and old!!!

I haven't been able to see Al for a number of years, but finally, I'm going.
I bought the ridiculously expensive vip package. Its going to be straight pimpin.



Or at least as pimpin as one can be in St Charles, MO.
