Id only arrange it with the band though. Listening to UHF right now, 80's albums are just purely awesome if your in the mood for solos. This album also has a really awesome guitar tone, they all do in their own way but this one in particular is very old school.

Noticed that Alternative Polks has some crazy accordion shreds throughout most of the song. Was just listening to Alapalooza this morning and didn't realize how awesome the solos in Traffic Jam and She Never Told Me She Was A Mime were, great stuff! Young, Dumb & Ugly definitely steals the show solowise.

HAH, yeah, and a couple guitar bends behind it. Not much of a solo there though, throw in a solo, a solo, a solo, a solo here.

There's a pretty amusing tuba solo and kazoo solo in SLN too, now that I think of it.

Anybody ever play Weird Al songs on guitar at home or anything? Me and my drummer play Dare To Be Stupid all the time, and my cover band does Yoda. I also like to play Let Me Be Your Hog and You Don't Love Me Anymore and I wanna learn quite a few more. Frank's 2000" TV would be fun. We may cover Gump and Canadian Idiot as well.

I played Craigslist on my trumpet once. It took forever to get right.

Lots of great choices here! (I'm a +1 on "Generic Blues.")
But my all-time favorite (so far) for guitar solos is "Albuquerque." (Especially around the 8-minute point in the song - the way Jim "plays outside" and pauses, like his hand was accidentally in the wrong position, but then he plays it off like, "I meant to do that!")

Albuquerque was pretty much just one big awesome solo.

Um, you're listening to the instrumental version, JCM.
