More of the tour? So every show as opposed to all but 2 shows?

Trying to understand this whole camera thing. Are they letting you give the camera to a designated person at the store who will click some pictures for you, or are pics totally not going to happen?

The way it generally works is there is a table that the author sits at. Next to the author is an employee that will get your book to the proper page because you will be so excited you won't be able to figure it out on your own. At the top of the line will be another employee who will tell you one autograph per person (will probably try and tell us with children we only get one) and no posed pictures. And finally there will be a camera person who will take a candid photo of you talking to the author. Occasionally this will be the same person as the one at the top of the line, depends on staffing. And they most likely will take the pic while al is signing so his head will be down with his hair obscuring his face. So I will hand off my camera to them and my phone to one of you, my dear friends so me and Miss Eva are guaranteed at least one good pic

Okay, this is literally ten minutes away from my house so there's no way I'm not going, but here's my question (since I've hardly ever been to book signings). Do you think they'd let me get something besides the book signed (like "Even Worse" on vinyl)?

Call the bookstore to ask. My guess is, no.

Actually if I were guessing, and how it's worked at other signings I've seen, is that if you buy Al's children's book you should have the opportunity to get one item signed. So, you may be able to get Even Worse signed. Just make sure to ask someone. But, you'll at least have to buy the book.

Well they already said that you have to buy his book to gain access to the signing, so that way they arent just getting people walking in with records and not buying anything from the store, but they do not say that you have to get the book signed. Im gonna buy two copies, one for me and one for Eva, but Eva wants Al to sign the accordion she lugged 900 miles last summer

They are calling for two inches for the whole day, and it will be mostly rain as the temp is supposed to be around 39. I don't know when your flight is, but most of the bad weather will be morning, pre rush hour.
