Decent crowd tonight But I hate places where seating is in the round, you cant see AL clearly half the time!
The rotation songs were You Make Me/Good Old Days.

Good review of Phoenix show here:

I particularly liked the bit where she admitted to a youth spent listening to "Taco Grande" as if it were her job.

We had a lot of fun (and would go again) even if the Celebrity theater was their only venue option, though it was definitely not the best for Al's multimedia show. There were just 2 projection screens for the video portions of the performance, and the one directly across from our section was for the most part blocked by elements of the stage (speakers and what not). We had to turn around 180 degrees to see the unobstructed screen, which was fine for the costume changes, but it definitely impacted the overall experience. Hopefully no one was injured in the making of this concert; there was a "long and dark" ramp to the off-stage area which made the costume changes seem to take that much longer, though they likely just as fast as they are anywhere else. It would have been great to actually
see more of the concert, their faces, and the costumes.
We stayed after the show along with a reasonably small, well behaved group, and were treated to a few moments with Ruben and then a chance to briefly meet with Al as he sat on the steps of his tour bus! It was so nice of him to spend that extra time with us, and I finally got my picture taken with him!
Hopefully Al will include Tucson with his next tour.
Enjoy your shows!
Steph
