You Make Me was great. Really great. Great. Was it great? Now you ask me. But, really, it sounded awesome.

Took the Metro Rail into Downtown Washington, stayed outside the city in Alexandria, VA. Went to see a few different things in the city. The Metro station was right down Pennsylvania from the Newseum...so with the reviews on here for it, I went to see it. The headlines section was amazing because my Lakers had won the championship the night before and Toy Story also came out that day. So, pretty much every paper in the world had both of those on the front cover. There other exhibits were really awesome as well. Sports films, Elvis exhibits, and the 9/11 exhibits...lot of different stuff. Really nice.

Walked around saw a few more sites and then went to the venue. Same procedure as Reading, doors opened at 7..and they let us in the theatre at 7:30. While waiting in the lobby, I met Nancy and talked with her a little. Then, went in and found my seat in the center of the 5th row. I really wasn't that impressed with this theatre. I had heard a lot about it, but it just didn't live up to my expectations.

Really awesome to see You Make Me performed. I texted Terri right after it, so Dave and her would know. It's Dave's favorite Al song, and such a bummer that he couldn't have seen it performed, They had the new costumes for Dare To Be Stupid, that Al mentioned he would fly in. I heard that they had a lot of trouble in shipping delays for the planes and things that were involved. So, they would have just missed being at the Reading show. Al got twisted up in his Skipper shirt. Other than that, another great show.

We waited for Al after the show, and got to see Steve and Ruben. After a while, a venue lady had told us that Al wasn't going to be coming out because he had a 12:00 interview to do. Didn't believe her. So, whenever Steve came out, when we were talking he told me that Al wanted him to tell me that since he had the interview he wouldn't be signing. Even though, I'm not sure how I feel about not signing for just the 7 there were of us...but, it was cool that he would ask Steve to do that. It was nice to be able to see Steve, anyway. After that, I walked back down the street and caught the metro back over to Alexandria...
