Al is going to write and direct a movie!

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

According to Central Casting in Atlanta, (a division of Central Casting LA which is the largest casting company in the country) there is currently a casting call going on for featured extras for an as-yet titled live action movie. Confused? Me too. Here's the post from Central Casting Atlanta's Facebook:

For a new Cartoon Network live action film seeking featured extras to be auditioned Wednesday & Thursday this week. These are for featured monsters, orcs & trolls. Very large men 6'6 to 7' tall with some sort of athletic, dance or movement experience as well as some small guys 5'7 to 6' w/ similar movement or stunt experience. All interested send a photo, contact info, resume or experience to: [email protected]

The one thing we DO know about Al's project is that it's NOT currently in production and extremely unlikely that it will be made with Cartoon Network.

I know that. What I am confused about is the fact that CN told Al they "are no longer in the business of doing live action films" and now it seems they certainly are. If this is the case, it would seem Atlantic Records isn't the only big company Al should have a beef with.

The movie CN is doing now could have been already almost finished and they found it was cheaper to go ahead and finish instead of shelve it and lose money already spent. Who knows?
