I'm fine with not hearing the song performed live, but couldn't it be done without backing vocals if he does something similar to how W&N live is performed, by having Steve and Jim help on the fast parts, when he takes a breath?
Absolutely, I think the fast part is something that could happen, one way or another, live without backing vocals.
What I meant was there are a lot of other parts of the song, especially in the chorus, that would require vocals as the song has a lot of Weird Als singing the various parts.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.
