"Here's a song I wrote for Sioux City!"
That was Al's intro while the band was starting I'll Sue Ya tonight. Really sweet adlib for Sioux City (Sue City, haha, for those who didnt get it...like me at first...heh). Very energetic show. The only real slip up was Al's mic stand gave in at the begining of Saga Begins, but he quickly fixed the stand and all was well.

The song tonight was WDTAHTM.
I love Iowa shows...I went to 3 of the 4 this tour, and all of them have been among the most energetic of what Ive seen. Al really seems to enjoy playing here in this state.

Yeah, it was a really standard show last night, but still a good performance. It's weird how energetic Iowa crowds are but Nebraskan crowds are pretty stoic.
Really sweet adlib for Sioux City (Sue City, haha, for those who didnt get it...like me at first...heh).
And me.
No meet and greet. They got out of there pretty fast. Jim came out for a brief moment to sign some stuff, but our group couldn't get close enough. Or else they left pretty fast. Probably cause they want to get to Canada as soon as they can and enjoy some sightseeing.
The venue was really nice. It looks a lot like the Orpheum here in Omaha. Security wasn't evil to us and allowed all kinds of photography. Woot!
I got the my outfit makes a lot of noise in the dryer line during WBUL. I noticed Al was stuck for a moment near me as he sang to the lady directly in front of me, tried to go to the other side to sing to someone, saw a lot of men, then came over to me. Lots of females in the aisles in my section.
Our seats were a lot closer than I thought they'd be.
I do have a lot of pictures. I just hope they turned out as good as they look on the camera.
Still a really good show. Now I have to wait as my computer takes in all the pictures from my camera.

This was my seventh Al concert. I went all out and got the VIP passes it came with a lanyard and a good sized autographed poster of Al. I brought a friend of mine along and our seats were really good , fourth row aisle seats. I thought Al put on a pretty energetic concert, seems like the theater was packed. I was surprised that there was no opening act, I don't think I have been to an Al concert with no opener. I had no problem with that though :-) During WBYL Al came out among the crowd I was hoping he would climb on over to us but he stuck to one side, it was still pretty funny and it got the people sitting in the balcony to lean over to watch what Al was doing. Al did not sing the alternate version of Headline news during the song medaly I was wondering if he switched up that set a little bit. After the show there was a pretty good sized group of people. We saw Steve wondering the streets around the theatre, we saw the garadge door open at the opposite end of where we were so we rushed down to the other end and found another group of Al fans patiently waiting. One women asked Jim if Al was going to come out but he didn't know. Jim and Ruben started sighing autographs but it didn't last long we were pretty close to them but them the security told them to get on the bus. We all stood on the sides and waved at the bus leaving. I was really sad to be honest. It was a good concert over all. I took lots of pictures and they turned out Amazing. Feel free to check them out.

As was said, a pretty "standard" show. I think that they did the best that they could in the Orpheum. The other shows that I have seen have had much larger stages and better attendence.
Does anyone happen to have pictures of WBYL when Al went into the crowd? It was my sister in laws first Al show and she got the "royal treatment" in the aisle

I was too far away to get a good picture and my brother was too busy watching and laughing to get a pic.
If you could post links or email them to me directly, that would be awesome!

Great pics, CindyBob! Maybe I could bum a few photos from you that show the 501st in it. My brother was Darth Vader, and at the last minute one of the Stormtroopers had to cancel, so my 17 year old niece got to take his place!

Nice pics, CB!
Vikki, that is awesome! I bet they were thrilled! I'd be so nervous, but, luckily, no one would be able to tell. LOL!
