I don't think that Al looks anything like Tiny Tim except for the long hair. Tiny Tim by all accounts was a sweet and gentle soul, and his knowledge of American popular music was greatly underrated, but he was MUCH weirder than Weird Al. And he did take his stage name from the character in Dickens' "A Christmas
Carol."
We now return you to your regularly-scheduled discussion.

For the record, several people have said my husband looks like Tiny Tim... others have said he looks kinda like Al. I think it's a long curly hair thing.

I got the Tiny Tim comment from a guy at work and I back handed him in the chest and left a welt with the big ring I was wearing at the time. OOPS!

Good thing he's a friend and not a supervisor.
He backs away now when he makes that comment.
I am known at work for my love of Al. Perhaps not a career building feature, but at my age I really don't care anymore.

It was after school and my sister and I were headed up to drama, my teacher was like,"who's that in your locker (a picture), and I was like Weird Al Yankovic, and he was like, "who?" and my sister said, "WEIRD AL YANKOVIC YOU DUMMY!" and ran up to drama, I was kinda freaked out because you know he's a teacher but good thing she's in Elementary otherwise she would have a very hard time with that teacher. I'm still proud of her though.

I tought her well.

My dad is always plucking out Al Tunes on his guitar- Trying to get me to Laugh. He wants me to play, I'd much rather play the accordion
My mom just generally thinks i'm whacko and would rather that I listen to the songs he had parodied and not the parodys

If you play her the songs, and then the Al version, she will soon change her mind. A lot of the songs he parodies now aren't fit to be heard

Yeah, hehe, Ridin' was on in the local CD store when I was going to look for SOL and of course I tryed to counteract chamillionaire with Al. I was unsuccessful but I could probably do it now its been a year and a half? hopefully it will be out by late 2009
Not many Songs are very clean anymore. Flo Rida Bugs me. I like rock. the hippity Hoppity rappish stuff is just plain annoying and Tasteless, unless Al does it.
