I called a little while ago and we can bring cameras but just can't use flash and it sounds like we will be sitting at the same table. I'm at table 5 seats 9-12 maybe we will get to say hi.
Can't wait just a little over 2 hours left.

Oh, and where you the guy with the "Yankovic" Jersey?Alinite27 @ Jul 15 2008, 05:01 AM wrote: It ended up being a great show, as well...
My ticket was right up at the stage, so I had a perfect view all night of the concert. Steve & I really interacted with each other again, and the band did little subtle things toward me. Al chose the table I was sitting at to dance on during Wanna B Ur Luvr. Steve was playing to me all night long. Al would come down to my side of the stage and sing right in my face a lot, since the stage was right there. Also, in Yoda, they did the Yoda Chant in kinda slower motion than usual..and Steve pointed at me, and mouthed that was for you. So, nice show...with lots of attention.
Show went pretty normal. He performed Why?. In the Saga Begins, there were two different kinds of characters that I haven't seen before: one looked like the regular stormtroopers, but it's costume seemed to be more cloth based or something...and the other was dressed fully in red and carried what looked to be a lead rod or pipe; it was interesting to see new members. In Albuquerque, he started over twice. Some guy was on his cell phone in the front row, and Al said they would have to start over due to that...and then, when he forgot where he was, they started over and went through the beginning...
After the show, I was waiting for Al out by where the backstage pass people were coming out. Someone came out to talk to the people who had the VIP Package. Also, I got to see and talk to Jim and Ruben...Jim a little longer than Ruben. Ruben had a funny moment, when someone asked him to take a picture and he said alright...and grabbed the camera, and took their picture for them, lol...I love when he does that...it's not very often you get to see Ruben really...so, I enjoyed getting to see him tonight...
Really fun day...Cooperstown, long conversations with Jim w/ good aftershow, lots of attention during the show, nice casino...everything was pretty nice....

Patti, on this I can join you in having NO IDEA what he's talking about.algonacchick @ Jul 14 2008, 11:48 PM wrote: Thank you for clearing that up. Are you sure anyone here who did go would even know him if they saw him, or have I been living in a cave...again?
Some of his book titles sound remotely familiar but...yeah...
English doesn't just borrow from other languages, it mugs them on the street and checks their pockets for loose grammar.

Yes to both: I was the guy in the Yankovic jersey and that is the correct character for the red lead pipe carrying guy.
The stormtroopers really had me cracking up tonight...they did a lot of different dance moves that I haven't seen the stormtroopers do before.
Also, yeah...I agree...I really did like the concert tonight Florian...I'd say it was probably a better show than Atlantic City, even though, I had more there with it being my 50th concert and carrying a pass from Jim. Really nice atmosphere tonight, though.

Which end of the table? Where you the fellow that I was talking to about the camera? Or were you in front of me I was the one with a digital camera and my SLR camera? I tried talking to a few people before the concert. I saw my friend Michelle and her Mom and Ethan was there too so I got to talk to him again he hasn't been on the forum for awhile he said. I was going to try and talk to Jeremy (Alinite27) but there just wasn't enough time before the concert and then I didn't see him afterwards.WeirdAlan @ Jul 15 2008, 12:51 AM wrote: I was right next to you! But I had fun watching all three of my friends that I brought for the first time enjoy seeing Al for the first time. I can't wait to get my film developed I have 4 rolls. Al had a lot more energy tonight and the crowd this time around was more enthusiastic and getting into it compared to last year. I loved the storm troopers that was the first time he did that at the Turning Stone. And the way they would just start dancing after they did their mover with their weapons. And he really came down into the audience for Wanna Be Ur Lover got some really good film pictures of that. And my friend's daughter loved it they took some pictures on their phone.
