The girls at my school were showing off by MCing really loudly. I hate MCing with a passion so I went through the bridge of Hardware Store in one breath!

O.K., so there's a "generational" thing going on here and forgive this soon to be 48 year old woman ... what is "MCing"

And ON TOPIC .... I pretty much don't "solo" any music in public, but I liked what someone said that when they meet new friends they try them out. I basically do the same thing, ease them into the fact that I am a geek (it took over 30 years to get comfortable with that) and I inevitably tell them that I like Al's music.

I sympathize with the person who mentioned letting dad listen to WBUL. If I was a kid, the "innunendo" lines would have been the very ones my mom would have walked in on and I'd have probably been told not to listen to that stuff. Sounds familiar from Al's life? ... wasn't he told by his mom not to listen to Dr. Demento, due to off color lyrics?

I guess I have been reserved (aka boring) enough to not embarrass myself, but I'm having fun reading the topics. You go, guys!!!

lol basically MCing is talking very fast to a crappy beat and calling it music. I hate it and I always will.

Well, today I went for a walk with my iPod and someone asked my what I was listening to and I said Weird AL... It wasn't emarasing realy, he said something to the effect of

"Is he all the rage now???" uhh... Yeah.... YEah he is....
