The poodle's a slimy carnivorous beast
When flying's concerned, a slow learner
In Elysium another poodle has joined the feast
So "whack" the G, see what it'll return her

Challenge 6 - Whack my Google, Si'l vous Plait

Welcome, Survivors, to our latest late-tastic challenge! It's, gasp,
another creative one. We'll have Jeopardy and such later on, 'I
promise you, I just don't have the combined time to organize another
race yet. When I have a good block of time we'll have to really
coordinate it.

But for now, we are going to have another creative challenge.
Use Google, Yahoo, or the MAJOR search engine of your choice (Dogpile
is also allowed, but you won't use it if you're sane) to search for
the word "poodle", and two other words. You are looking for the
smallest number of results possible. You cannot use quotes.

For example, poodle lamprey palaver gets only about 250
results. This is on the low end of what you are going to get. If you
can get this down into the tens, good for you.

You must use straight searching, no advanced settings.
Each tribe must find 20 such triplets, each one containing the word
"poodle", and send them to me along with the number of results for
each. Please no falsification, I will know. I will add the combined
number of results to arrive at a combined score. Whichever tribe has
the lowest score wins. Also please specify which search engine you used.

You must send me your tribe's triplets by Wednesday at 1:00.

Foreign words are allowed within reason (i.e. they must be
recognizable), as are proper nouns, etc.

Survivors, GO!

ETA: Zero results are not acceptable. Thanks, Rob.

There is some small preparation required before the challenge begins.

You will need an unzipping program. Windows XP and Vista have one built in. If you need a zip program, or are not sure if you have one or not, I recommend WinRar, which may be downloaded for free at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
The challenge will be posted in 10 minutes

If you are having any problems getting set up, it is imperative that you contact me right away. Once the challenge begins, I will not be able to help.

Challenge 7 – The Weird Al Show Ex-zip-it

Welcome back, Survivors!
After the release of “The Weird Al Show” on DVD, there was a massive spark of interest in the show. After a high-dollar auction, the “Best of Television Museum”, won the rights to use the show however they wanted.
The museum now wants to open an exhibit based on the wacky adventures Al had in his show.
They need YOUR help.
The museum has asked your tribe to sort through many different ‘relics’ from the show, so that the museum will be able to create the best exhibit possible.
The give you and your tribe a big stack of work to go through:

Challenge.zip

It seems the last person whom the museum asked to sort everything did a lousy job. To make matters worse, they put locks on all the relics.

The good news is, he gave hints on how to unlock them!
Your job is to unlock all the relics.

The museum informs you that they know the password to open the package. The password will be provided in 5 minutes.
Obviously, the first tribe to complete the challenge by getting to the final relic, will win Immunity.
Good luck, Survivors!

(The zip file is ~2MB, so please download as soon as possible, so that you won’t fall behind in the challenge)
