Oh, many apologies. Forums are foreign to me still...I'll look out for you!
I was also wondering...is there a fence between the stage and the audience at the Potter Center? There was at the 11 July Lansing show, so he couldn't do OMM or WBUL, and I really hope I get to see him do it live this tour!

Hey, I've got a commentary without much to say....

The Potter Center is indoors. No fences. He did WBUL there last time. He even stood on a huge platform and really danced around. It was awesome!
I just heard from Kari that our tickets arrived today! Yay! We're in orchestra row F, seats 109 and 110! Kaffy, you'll be right behind us! Yay!

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

Wooooooooooooo!
lol
I have to thank Albinodwarf for my ticket. *bows* Front Row Steve side, freaking awesome! He really puts on a show for the girls who stare at him all night
Anyhow.. The show was kick butt. AGain! LOL (show #1 of 7 this week)
Few notables:
-WDTAHTM was performed
- A few times (dont' really recall right now WHICH songs they were) he would kind of not sing the words.. almost like he was forgetting what verse was next. It happened to a few songs, but thats ok, we helped him out
- Albuquerque he added quite a few donuts some that have been mentioned before..others like butterscotch.. and then he repeated Jelly and was yelled at because he was already told they're out of jelly. lol
- There were a couple of girls who were holding their CD sleeves out at the beginning of Albuquerque and Al went into a schpeel like.. if you wait after the show I will be signing autographs, I can't really stop the show right now to sign those for you, so just hold onto them.. and then he started Albuquerque again.
- Towards the end of Albuquerque where he says, "Where was i?" and he then said forget it, we'll have to start again..so they did.
And then he stopped and said, Oh yeah, now i remember where I was, and went on about the sauerkraut. lol
- My face is real symmetrical and my nostrils are so nice
Uhm.. yes. great show. I'm beat, i'm heading to bed as I've got to get up in a few hours to go to work, just to do it all over again tomorrow night!!
Oh yes. WE waited and waited and waited afterwards for Al to come out, with the County cops telling us to leave. But us stubborn fans knew better, so we stuck it out, Al came to the bus and decided to sign for us. Yay!
I chatted with Steve for a few minutes, and Jim for that matter.. said hi to jon, and Ruben.
So it was a great great night.. Got a few super hugs from Steve!!
and of course Al
Ok. now i'm really going. the others can fill in!
Onto Benton Harbor! YES!
lol

Thanks for the review!
HAHA, I like the CD thing! That's funny!
Oh, and, sorry to burst your bubble... but the crowd, no matter how loud they sing, can't really "help him out" with lyrics. Trust me, you can't hear much beyond the feed in those monitors.

Not much I can add to Kathy's review. Wonderful crowd! The stormtroopers were hysterical once again, and if the one on the end behind Steve is reading this - you were my favorite! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. Patti looked gorgeous in her Renaissance outfit and it was great to finally meet her, Kathy, Moonbeam and her husband, TexMexDad ... I'm forgetting a few people, it'll come to me later - and it was nice to see Fred again.
That was the longest, funniest version of Albuquerque yet!
Security was a bit more harsh than necessary and I'm glad we stuck around in spite of the threats. There were a few families with young kids and a boy celebrating his sixteenth birthday, it meant a lot to them to meet Al. I was able to talk to all of the guys (and yay, my OMM scarf is fully signed four years later!), got a few lovely hugs - and thanks to Jon EVERYONE in the crowd was calling me by name! Thanks for remembering
As far as the petition drive, we have over 200 signatures (Kathy, if you want me to send yours in with the rest just bring them tonight) and people were looking for us because Greg was able to get an article into the local newspaper. Many thanks to the lovely girl who gave me her copy.
Benton Harbor tonight!

Oh yes, I am fully aware that we didn't actually "help him", but it was still fun singing the songs outloud. No bubble burst really.Kristine @ Sep 24 2007, 01:59 AM wrote: Oh, and, sorry to burst your bubble... but the crowd, no matter how loud they sing, can't really "help him out" with lyrics. LOL Also, with the petitions, I have a couple more shows i'm volunteering for, Greg told me to go ahead and turn them all in when i'm done. Thanks though!
OH! Do you have any Pistachio Donuts?
hahaha

Oh I forgot to add this... when i started talking with steve, he was all happy to see me, and he's like, I see you were up on stage with us.. (cuz of my Awesome front row seat, thanks to nancy) lol and I said to him, It sure felt like it! LOL Oh man. He gives great hugs..
