I don't know anyone coming from Brooklyn. You may want to contact a cab company to find out what the approximate fare will be from the train stop to the venue. I'm sorry, but I just have no idea what it would cost or what the logistics would be. I'm not even doing my own driving.

There are several good websites with train/bus/light rail schedules for the NY metro area, you may want to start with Google.

The train station is relatively close, only about 2 miles, from the venue. I accidentally found that out when I made a wrong turn after coming off the highway one of the times I went there. The two are on the same road, though the road does change names somewhere between the two.

Thanks to all of you for the suggestions. The show is coming up soon and I still don't have tickets. I better find out if it's sold out, which would suck.
I was hoping to catch a ride with some friends, or fans so I waited.
Thanks for the update on the train, and the cab ride.

I got tickets in March for my birthday (coincidentally it was the day Al started his tour) and it happens to be at Westbury. I live in Coram, LI so I am relatively close. I have some questions:
Because the stage spins and it's round, will they show video clips?
Is he still going to change outfits between songs?
Is the concert always croweded for Al?
Is there a good chance of meeting the big man himself without having to wait on the mother of the mother of the mother of all lines?

Yes, they still do clips. There were several screens for these last time.
Yes, he still does costume changes--he runs up an aisle to the back of the audience.
Yes, it is typically crowded
Westbury is a good place for a meet n greet post show--but you WILL have a line to wait in. Be patient, its totally worth it :) This IS NOT a guarentee!

I got tickets for the end of the aisle that Al walks passed to get to his changing room, so Al will be walking right passed me after almost every song! I cant wait for that.

Jackie, it seems you stayed for a meet and greet at Westbury before. Where do people usually meet up to get on line for the Meet and Greet with Al??

The one other time I was there, people gathered around the busses--they are hard to miss in that parking lot. There was a tent between the busses and the actual building the show is in. We milled around there for like an hour or so and then they lined us all up and WOO! :D

I have 2 tickets to Weird Al's show Sat June 2 at the North Fork Theatre in Westbury. Sec A, Row J, seats 14 and 15. I bought these tickets months ago with the hopes of seeing Al because I never have and love his stuff, but now I can't go 'cause I'll be out of town. The tickets' face is $61.50 then there's a service charge, convenience charge, processing charge, made up charge, etc:

Both tix for $150. Thanks.

Ok, I guess uyou've answered my questions. I'm sure I'll at least be able to catach a glimpse of him up close (if I'm unable to get to the autograph line). Our seats are in Section C, Row G (we're the seats 1-4). Are those seats good seats?

There is not a bad seat in the venue---really! Its only 15 rows or so deep, and the stage rotates, so if you start out behind the band, it gets better :D
