I just figured that Lars Ulrich earned his place in Al's song by testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee.scottidog @ Jul 13 2007, 06:53 PM wrote: Here's another never before asked question (or at least I've not seen it addressed)
Is Lars Ulrich really so morally bankrupt that if HE knows file sharing is wrong, it ought to be beyond obvious to everyone else?

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Ok. I knew it was a reference to Metallica and Napster. (Not sure if I knew that Mr. Ulrich had testified before congress.)
But it still begs the question. Al says (or sings) "Even Lars Ulrich knows it's wrong." That sounds like saying "Even Hitler knows such and such is wrong." Because Hitler is the archetypal bad guy. So if he knows it's wrong, then it must be really bad.
So, I ask again... Is Lars Ulrich really such a bad guy (douchebagness aside) that he would be a moral barometer? I mean, it's obvious he knows that filesharing is wrong. It's the "Even" part of the question that has me puzzled.
Yeah, I have been thinking about this for months, if you must know.
