It took me an embarrassingly long period of time to fully get the *joke* of this song. (Extreme things mixed in with minor, and Al just blowing both of them off as one of the same.) I don't fully know why it took me so long, I just assumed it was just a bunch of silly "one of those days" situations.

I always saw the amazing musicianship in all of the originals that generally trumps the lyrical content anyway. Al never writes a bad line, never ever skipped these tracks in my life!
