And you still won't be able to see/hear it unless it's recorded and aired at a later date. Unless of course you are an attendee of the Consumer Electronics Show.

This XM appearance is interesting from a speculating-about-Al's-career-strategy standpoint.
It's gotta help him get more airtime-- er, orbital time?-- on XM. And that would be a good thing. One thing that seems like a pretty sure thing is that people who spend time in proximity to Mr. Yankovic seem more inclined to do nice things for him as a result.

He already does get a nice amount of play on XM, where at least once or twice a day you can hear one of his songs on Laugh USA... the most recent I heard being "Why Does This Always Happen To Me?" yesterday evening.
What would be *awesome*, if they mantain a good relationship, would be for him to do something for their XM Live channel. They have these live concerts and "Artist Confidential" things that they do from the XM Performance Stage they have (no idea where that is), and it would be cool to have him featured on one of those.

They played Ebay on the 80s channel this morning. The DJ said it was for the Gibson guitar people at the Consumer Electronics Show.

New promo on the 80s channel featuring Al.
A young boy's voice says:
"You know when you are a child of the 80s when......
You know all of Weird Al's songs."
(Then the kid sings Eat It and Addicted To Spuds.)

Do they have any Al-friendly channels?
It's funny.. as some of you know, I was a Sirius investor for a while... yet ended up an XM customer.

Personally, I never take investing lightly ... nope, I'm always pretty sirius about it.

They have an '80's channel, and a '90's one. I requested a song before, but I don't think I'll be able to listen too often with hubby home. I'm sure he didn't get a satellite dish so I could tune in to a channel that just plays music, and shows the info about it dancing across the screen every so often. Ah, well.

Nope, no Weird Al only channel, though I have also suggested that to XM.
