No, no, no. I didn't mean that. I don't like the song but it probably does make sense. What I was trying to say, was that the parody aspect of Al's song made more sense after having heard the original.

I think there's just something about the melody that I don't like.

I like most of their songs. My second favorite female R&B group next to Salt N Pepa.

I still would love to see a video for this song. I could imagine 3 different "Als" in front of a waterfall wearing belly shirts and genie pants....

Just kidding. I like Phony Calls. It's a really funny song. My sister used to be obsessed with the original, and it was funny for me to blast Phony Calls while she was trying to listen to the original. I especially like the Simpsons part. "Mike Rotch, Mike Rotch! Has anybody seen Mike Rotch lately? Listen to me, you little puke. One of these days, I'm gonna find you, and I'm going to carve my name on your back with an ice pick!"
