i went to a weird al concert in 2000. during smells like nirvana, i thought there was something very familiar about one of the cheerleaders. HOLY CRAP!! that girl was in my 7th period class!! i never talked to her or anything, but i knew her face. she was a freshman. after the show, i found her and i asked "oh my god! how did you get to do that?!?" apparently she goes to some dance school or something and they called her house like an hour before the show and said "this is an emergency! weird al needs another cheerleader!! come to the paramount RIGHT NOW!!" i guess one of the cheerleaders that were supposed to be there exploded or something. so she went and they taught her all the moves and stuff. apparently it's not too hard if she could learn it that fast. and they gave her a t-shirt for free and she got to hang out with al before the show. oh man, you dont even understand how jealous i was. that should have been ME!! even though i dont go to a dance school or anything, i like al more than she does! i only got to see al for what semed like 5 seconds. it's not fair, i tell ya! i gave her angry jealous stares from across the classroom for the rest of the year.

hey rich, just wondering how you came across this info. i'd be really interested in seeing this video!

I haven't seen the video myself...but while all of you are busy trying to get autographs and photos with *AL* after the shows, I go and hunt down the cheerleaders (they're also the first ones who get to meet Al during the meet and greet)....and since they actually expect me to TALK to them before I can ask them for a hug, I've asked them what being a cheerleader for Al is like.

There are??!! I think my copy of the video is special issue or something, all I can see is Al in shiny silver... Al in gorgeous white suit.. Al in sleeveless t-shirt.. er..

Whoever designed Al's clothes for The Pentiums video sure did a gooooood job.

I don't know what happened to that suit, but it was truly, truly, a wonderful thing. I wish there were more shots of him in it instead of the quick glimpses we get in the video.

Who ended up winning the Pentiums girl outfit at the last AlCon auction (or was it the previous one)? I know Whitney was walking around modeling it (she looked great it in, from the pics I saw).
