I mentioned this somewhere else, but it applies here, too, so what the heck? Redundancy isn't too repetitive for my tastes...
..."A Complicated Song" has been getting a lot of radio play in Arizona. Since the singles are usually the tracks that make it to the radio, I'm betting on ACS as a "first video candidate".
Although, I think "Trash Day" would have a lot of funny visuals to go with it, especially if there an over-abundance of blacklights (a la the "Hot In Herre" video).

Depends on what you mean by music video. I have seen stuff that could be considered music videos for people like The Beatles, Elvis... If you are talking about a video made just for a song as opposed to someone just filming a performance, I'm gonna say maybe the Pre-Fab Four were in on the ground floor. They were also one of the first, if not the first, Boy Band put together just because they happened to fit the costumes. Not that they weren't a good group. And some of them (Micky Dolenz) are really good musicians.
If you are talking about videos as we know them today... MTV started up in the early 80s (1980? 81?) Al was there, in fact he helped make MTV what it is. Or rather what it was. Anyone else remember when MTV actually played music videos? You could actually turn it on at any time of the day or night and just like magic: Music Videos! Do they play them at all anymore? It's even tough to find actual videos on VH1. They now have more "programming." I like some of the programming, especially BTM and some of the stuff VH1 does. And I like MTV Cribs. I wish Al and Suzanne would do Cribs... How about a Pop-Up video for Al?

Well, from what I remember (here we go again), it was Billy Joel playing piano in a bar (The scene was black and white) and there were cuts to these different people drinking and doing things that you'd do in a bar. It wasn't a live performance really, but it wasn't much of a music video either. At least, not with todays standards, where you can't get airplay without a multi-million dollar budget. Ok, that may be a little bit of an exaggeration but, well, I don't really know.

Yeah I think Piano Man had a multi-dollar budget. It was a real good video though, fit the mood real well. Maybe with Al-Tv on Vh1 (isnt that supposed to stand for video hits? havent seen many videos there lately either) he may do a pop up video type thing. Al if youre reading this, can you do a pop up video thing?

But I want to see five Al's doin' the boy band thang...
I'm thinking of this video with Ruben watching them online with their UPS uniforms and all and being the lovesick teenager. How's that for a song-stealing role, Valitierra?
(Oh Cmon, you know I didn't mean Studdard)
I think Trash Day will most likely be a video with Complicated Song as the second....erm...third single and second video.
Scotti, you still have the tour to see him dress up as a boy band member...but then, there goes my ruben idea.
