I'm sure someone will make a copy for all of the out of U.S. fans and don't get to see VH1.

I probably would, if I had a second VCR.

Is there any way those of us in other foreign, far off, exotic countries can watch this stuff? Will it be on video? Will someone tape them and mail them to me? Help! Need to see Al! Going to lose conciousness...gasp!

Canada's exotic?

If you have trouble getting this stuff I'm sure one of the nice folks here would be more than glad to oblige.

If Canada's not exotic then I don't know the meaning of the word. Okay, maybe I don't but hey there's not many countries that have mountains, a desert and a rain forest all within driving distance. And what could be more exotic than Mad Cow disease, SARS and West Nile Virus all causing major concern at once. Ah what a country!

Anyway, I am hoping that my dear friend with Satellite TV will tape the Al appearances if she gets them. If not I will be very sad, lonely and desperate...more so.

I stand corrected! :) Where is this Canadian desert, anyway?

One way or another, we'll have to make sure you get your Al fix!

'Cause we've got rocks and trees and trees and rocks

And rocks and trees and trees and rocks

And rocks and trees and trees and rocks

And rocks and trees and trees and rocks

And water!

All right, everyone!

(Sorry for the off-topic post. I'll go blue card myself now.)

Drumheller, ALberta

It may not be the Sahara but I believe it is still technically categorized as a desert.

Oops, getting off topic again, sorry!

I REALLY hope I get to see Al on TV. Does anyone per chance have all of his Al TV episodes on tape? I'd pay up to 27 cents for that video cassette!

(That's about 1 1/2 cents Canadian! :) )

Okay I'm slightly annoyed that the new ALTV is only an HOUR! The first one was four hours and the one for OTDE was three! Oh well.

Who wants to bet me that Al will use clips from the Michael Jackson/Martin Bashir interview as one of his mock-interviews? VH1 has been showing that interview constantly since it debuted on ABC.

Since there's no video, I predict that we'll see a fake video for Trash Day and Angry White Boy Polka like in past ALTVs and MuchMusics.

Yeah, what the heck's that about??

I can't believe it's because VH1 only has one hour of programming to spare. Has anyone ever watched the channel after midnight on a weekday?

For only an hour long, they better rerun it to death.

Well, that would be OK. Al-TV in heavy rotation would be nearly as good, publicity-wise, as a video.

Yup, especially if they trot out everything they have in the back room somewhere...
