We had the Al*Mart happen a few times. And.. once, a bird nest caused the A in Mart to catch fire... But, all was resolved [and the letters are now the kind that make it impossible for birds to roost in them].
We have Rural King stores around here, and once, the first 3 letters were missing, making it say " AL KING"
What's kind of weird about it is that in the same day, we went to Subway, and due to wind damage from a previous storm, it simply read "WAY" ... *hums the Twilight Zone theme again*

Dunno if this is the best place for this post or not, but here goes:

We are in the middle of hiring new people at work, so when I got back in today after being in CA for a few days, there were a bunch of new faces to contend with.

A woman we are auditioning for the front desk greets me and says "I understand you are a big Weird Al fan."

"Guilty as charged!"

She then reveals that when she lived in southern CA she got to be an extra in the video for "Smells Like Nirvana" She told me where in the video I can spot her, so I am going to see if I can't find her. She was very excited to meet another fan, and I plan on turning her loose out here a bit later.
