The anticipation for this song definitely was great, and I don't think I've ever had so much excitement over just one song. I do have a few minor complaints about some weird buzzing and parts where his vocals sound...off or something. I also am not too fond of how it all felt really rushed (too many words crammed into certain spots.)

The topic matter is GREAT, and I think it is almost a sequel to White and Nerdy in some weird karmic way. I can't see this song being MORE popular than White and Nerdy...but! Only because one of the great things about White and Nerdy was that Al gave us a new catch phrase to say..."white and nerdy"! With this song, the only things we can really pick out from the song to joke around with to other people are things like "it's all about the washingtons" or "you can always ride the city bus"...Don't get me wrong, Al made the right call in using the title 'Whatever You Like' to work in his favor, but with the less eager fans, that was the catch phrase they would spread word about the song with...

I am a great fan of most of these lyrics and I LOL'ed quite a bit during the song because much of the matter he was singing about was a perfect theme to my life at the moment (huh, the economy is bad? I eat Top Ramen anyw......uhhh nevermind...) I am not always a big fan of the Rap/r&B parodies (or ones that sound similar mind you!), but this one will be among my favorites eventually.

I'm hoping that when this single finally makes its way onto the album, Al will have it remastered a bit. Aside from those small things, I am real happy with this song. Since White and Nerdy was a 9/10 on my scale, I am going to give 'Whatever You Like"

It only lost points because of the weird lyrics (in a couple spots) and those audio problems I mentioned earlier. GREAT song though! I love it!
